Hobbe Folly by Adam MacQueen

I recently finished the book and thought it was pretty great. Kind of a folk horror / eldritch horror flavor with a pretty good plot twist finale. It revisits the previous books locale, with a new outsider's POV giving a new variation of tension and fear.

It's not too gorey or heavy on body horror like Sam Rebelein's Edenville series. I also appreciated the lesbian / bisexual side characters. Everyone does dumb things for some intimacy lol

Please note you do need to read the previous novel only. Though the ending of HF would make more sense if you're familiar with the series. ymmv on how much of a completionist you are.

Anyone read this, or have some folk horror recs?
